Training Sessions

The training plan is delivered through Training Peaks. Our training is structured around the season and is suitable for any athlete, any ability any discipline!

Below is a summary of our current training sessions.

  • Monday

    Swimming at Cripps

    Here we work on technique, conditioning, race and open water skills. The sessions are planned around a year plan which aligns itself with the race season allowing any athlete of any distance to join in.

    Monday’s swim is at Cripps pool from 20:00 to 21:00

  • Tuesday

    Strength & Conditioning

    These are focused on injury prevention targeting alignment and building strength specific for the disciplines which we train. A KEY weekly training session for anyone.

    Join these virtually or together in the gym from 19:30 to 20:30

  • Wednesday

    Running at Moulton Sports Complex

    If you are serious about improving your running speed then the track is where that will happen. Sessions are planned around the racing season and simply put: are designed to make you faster!

    Moulton College Track, 18:30 to 19:00

  • Thursday

    Weekly Zwift sessions:

    A great tool for improving you cycling at any level, these sessions we use to build power, muscular endurance and speed skills, on season the sessions are aligned to the annual training plan, off season we take part in Zwift races, Time trials, power builging and endurance

  • Thursday

    Swimming at Duston School Pool

    Here we work on technique, conditioning, race and open water skills. The sessions are planned around a year plan which aligns itself with the race season allowing any athlete of any distance to join in.

    Duston School, 20:00 to 21:00

  • Saturday

    Cycling – Group bike

    Weekly group bike rides: routes and distances vary, sometimes with a café stop. Typically, these are split up into groups: Group 1 17mph+, Group 2: 15mph+ Group 3: paced at slowest rider.

Training challenges:

Throughout the year we do take part in mini challenges: i.e individual Team Time trials, charity challenges etc…
