BACK…
GUARANTEED to disrupt your rhythm…
A FABULOUS and EXCITING event coming back to life in 2026 – AS DESCRIBED in the
ROTHERTHORPE SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS 1977 as:
“The smugglers run” – an obstacle course across fences and ditches etc involving a shadow stream crossing carrying a cask of “RUM” open to men women and children….
In TEAMS of 4, participants will be SET OFF in 5 minute intervals starting at 10:00,

Following the original course, you will race (yes its a race) with your team and will traverse over 20 obstacles WITH your barrel. Expect to get WET and MUDDY – mixed with the camaraderie of the team will make it a day to remember.
the half KEG,

Shorter of the 2 loops, you too wil get WET and MUDDY 🙂 a Shorter loop with equally challenging obstacles in teams of 4 + your barrel.
